WORLD BOOK DAY CELEBRATION

On 23rd Apr, 2020 Vidya Prabodhini Prashala, CBSE section marked their presence to celebrate World Book Day with lots of enthusiasm through social media. World Book Day celebrated on 23rd Apr every year to encourage the little ones and big fellows to pick up books and read.

Keeping the purpose of World Book Day in mind and by following the outlines of rules and regulations given by the government during the lockdown period of COVID-19 our Hon. Prin. Ma'am appealed the students to read a book out of curriculum, write few lines about it and to draw a cover page of that book for better use of time. The objective of celebrating this day through social media was to inculcate the habit of reading books in them.

Prin. Ma'am shared her concept through WhatsApp and the response was oberwhelming from the students. The students of Classes from I to X spontaneously responded to the concept. It was the best opportunity to enrich their knowledge and stimulate their mind during lockdown. The students got the first class out of syllabus reading materials on several networking sites. They realised the key role of books in their life by reading it.

The students shared book reading stills & videoes, their opinion about book and beautifully painted the cover page of the book on their Class WhatsApp group. The group was overflowing due to the sharing of their activities.

Prin. Ma'am praised the response of all the students and appealed them to carry out throught out their life. She posted a thanks giving post on the social media. Several parents thanked to Prin. Ma'am to engage their little ones with such an innovative concept of the School.
