The
details of the curriculum at the various levels are as follows:
For Preschool Level (Nursery, L.K.G, H.K.G)
In the Pre-Primary section utmost importance is given to the method of ' Learning - by - doing '. Phonetics and blending of two, three, four and five letter words are taught. In the H.K.G section, the academic year concludes with framing of small passages, which is possible due to ' Object-talk ' conducted at the Nursery and L.K.G levels.
In the subject Mathematics the curriculum includes recognition of numbers, rote learning, before & after numbers, notations, > < = , addition and subtraction. Children get practical experience of every concept.
The subject Environmental Studies includes topics which help the children get a broader perspective of things in life like information on animals, birds, insects, transportation etc.
Children are also exposed to art and craft, dance and drama, puppetry, audio visuals, music and regular use of the library.
Educational trips are arranged for children to get an experience of everyday life.
Training is imparted to the Pre-Primary students to formally get them acquainted with the curriculum of the Primary Section.
For Primary Level (Classes I – IV)
The subjects covered are English, Hindi (Second Language), Marathi (Third Language-Stds.III & IV ), Mathematics, Environmental Studies (Stds.I & II), Science (Stds.III & IV), Social Studies (Stds.III & IV ), Computer Studies, Arts Education, Physical Education/Games, Value Education, Music.
For Upper Primary Level (Classes V - VIII)
The subjects covered are English, Hindi (Second Language), Marathi (Third Language), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (under Science), History & Civics, Geography, Computer Studies, Arts Education, Value Education, Music, Physical Education/Games.
For Classes IX & X
The subjects covered are English, Hindi (Second Language), Marathi (Third Language), Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Biology (under Science), History & Civics, Geography, Computer Applications/ Technical Drawing Applications/ Art Paper I & II, Physical Education/Games.
